Hike – Ramona Falls

This is Steve’s favorite hike he’s done so far in Mt Hood area. He did the whole thing, 7 miles with crossing the river on a log. This morning after grabbing some breakfast at Wraptitude (see separate blog) we set out to do a quick hike. Quick because we were meeting Bill Handy Dandy Handyman to discuss the new swing at the cabin. Yeah! Anyways, we got to Ramona Falls trailhead, walked for about 15 to the river to see the most amazing view of Mt Hood and walked back. When I say walk I mean that most of us walked because our 2 year old sprinted all the way back. Wow. We did stop few times to check out the snow and to take some awesome pictures on huge rocks. I really recommend this first part through the river, easy for kids.
